About the Role

Preserving Hometown Experiences (PHX) Music Fund aims to create fun and engaging music fueled events that help us to raise money for our mission. We are looking for volunteers that may perform a variety of duties to ensure we create the best possible experience at our events. The duties can be tailored to your experience/skillset/desire and include volunteer jobs such as run the registration table, be rovers throughout event to generally assist, greeters, table assistants, parking attendants, back room help such as in kitchen or clean up/set up, street team to promote the event, photographer/videographer at events. This is a great opportunity to give back to your music community and enjoy our events as well.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Required Age:

  • 18+Years

  • Minors (aged 12-17 years old, with eligible accompanying adult).

  • Required Documentation:

  • All individuals are required to have a valid government issued ID with picture, such as a driver's license or passport

  • Transportation

  • I have access to reliable, safe, and insured vehicle transportation to/from event or volunteer assignment.

  • Criminal Records

  • I do not have a criminal record involving a violent crime.

  • I do not have a criminal record within the past 5 years.

  • I have never been convicted of embezzlement.

  • I will give consent for PHXMF to complete a background, sex offender, and driving record check.

  • Physical Capabilities

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs

  • Must be able to stand/sit for min 5 hours

  • References

  • Must be able to provide 2-3 references

About Our Organization

Preserving Hometown Experiences Music Fund was founded in late 2020 with a mission to support musicians and music-related initiatives for the public interest of sustaining local music. We believe that the strength and diversity of local music directly impacts the overall wellness of the community. We also recognize that musicians face a variety of challenges that can jeopardize their ability to provide music to the community including a lack of accessibility to music resources, music-related education, or support during a personal crisis.

We are a dedicated group of people with a broad set of skills and talent who have undertaken the challenge to build an organization that will provide substantial long-term benefits to our community. As a young organization, we are building the foundation to deliver our mission, and with the support of our community through financial and volunteer assistance, we will be recognized as a model for charitable music growth and sustainability.

Our goal is simple: Remove barriers that prevent a musician from playing music or growing their musical career by providing the right resources at the right time.
